Education:

Previous research topics:

  • OSIRIS radio purity pre-detector: The OSIRIS (Online Scintillator Internal Radioactivity Investigation System) is designed to monitor the radio purity of JUNO's liquid scintillator during the filling process. This system was primarily developed, funded, and operated by German institutes within the JUNO collaboration. During my PhD, I contributed significantly to the commissioning and calibration of OSIRIS.
  • Reconstuction of atmospheric neutrino events in JUNO with GCNs: JUNO aims to utilize atmospheric neutrinos as a secondary, independent channel to determine the neutrino mass ordering (NMO). Precise event reconstruction is crucial for this analysis. During my PhD, I focused on developing methods for energy reconstruction, event classification and particle identification using simulated detector response data, using Graph Convolutional Neural Networks (GCNs).
